Job summary

ArchWell Health seeks a Medical Assistant, Center Float, to flexibly support our senior-focused clinics. The MA-Float will greet patients, assist with check-in, and perform routine clinical tasks as needed across centers.

The role may involve front office or direct patient care, assisting the PCP daily and ensuring efficient care delivery. Experience with EMR and basic phlebotomy is highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable training is required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in members, ensuring a welcoming and efficient process.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals for a multidisciplinary team.
• Update electronic medical records and request/upload medical records.
• Conduct intake, measure vitals, interview patients, and assist with examinations.
• Communicate patient conditions to PCP and care team as needed.
• Perform basic first aid and CPR under physician supervision as necessary.
• Maintain OSHA standards and accurate documentation at all times.
• Support center events and front office tasks as needed.
