LMH Health in Kansas is seeking a permanent, full-time Medical Assistant to support physicians in delivering primary health care. The role involves administrative and clinical tasks, patient confidentiality, and a respectful patient experience.

The position requires completing a Medical Assistant program or related credentials, plus BLS. Schedule includes 8a–5p, M-F, with weekend rotation; benefits and tuition reimbursement are offered.

Formación

• Current or previous Kansas Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) CPT required or equivalent.
• Enrolled in or completion of a Medical Assistant program.
• Active Kansas Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.
• Nursing student who has completed first semester of nursing skills; complete department checklist within 90 days of hire.
• Has completed or is enrolled in accredited pre-med/pre-optometry/pre-pa/pre-dentistry program; complete skills checklist within 90 days.
• Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program; complete checklist within 90 days.
• BLS certification required on hire.

Responsabilidades

• Update and file patient medical records and insurance forms.
• Take medical histories and record vital signs; document electronically.
• Explain treatments and prep patient for examination with privacy.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens; dispose of contaminated supplies; sterilize instruments.
• Assist with wound or cast care as needed.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate hospital and lab services.
