Job summary

Pinnacle Fertility in Arlington, VA, and Bethesda, MD is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time, day-shift, on-site role. You will assist with procedures, provide patient education, and support the multidisciplinary team to ensure a seamless fertility journey for patients.

The position requires a Medical Assistant training program and certification, current BLS/CPR, and 1-2 years of MA experience. Weekend and holiday coverage may be required. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and certification preferred.
• Maintain current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in patients, verify medical history, and update patient information.
• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Perform basic diagnostic tasks such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are properly stocked and available.
• Accurately document patient information and maintain electronic medical records (EMR).
• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, including follow-ups and referrals.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medication protocols, and preventive care measures.
• Ensure a safe and organized environment by adhering to infection control and safety standards.
• Assist with inventory management and clinical supply ordering.
• Respond to patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
