Job summary
Pinnacle Fertility in Virginia and Maryland is seeking a patient-focused Medical Assistant to support patients through the fertility journey. This full-time, on-site role covers daily clinic operations, assisting providers, preparing exam rooms, and documenting patient information.
The position requires a high school diploma, MA training, BLS/CPR certification, and 1–2 years MA experience. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and certification preferred.
- Maintain current BLS/CPR certification.
- 1-2 years MA experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in patients, verify medical history.
- Assist healthcare providers with examinations and procedures.
- Take vital signs, draw blood, and administer injections.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment stocked.
- Document patient information in EMR.
- Coordinate appointments and referrals.
- Educate patients on treatment plans and medications.
- Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed.
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering.
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide excellent service.
