Pinnacle Fertility in Arlington, VA, and Bethesda, MD is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time, day-shift, on-site role. You will assist with procedures, provide patient education, and support the multidisciplinary team to ensure a seamless fertility journey for patients.

The position requires a Medical Assistant training program and certification, current BLS/CPR, and 1-2 years of MA experience. Weekend and holiday coverage may be required. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and certification preferred.
• Maintain current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Greet and check-in patients, verify medical history, and update patient information.
• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Perform basic diagnostic tasks such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are properly stocked and available.
• Accurately document patient information and maintain electronic medical records (EMR).
• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, including follow-ups and referrals.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medication protocols, and preventive care measures.
• Ensure a safe and organized environment by adhering to infection control and safety standards.
• Assist with inventory management and clinical supply ordering.
• Respond to patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

About the Role

The Medical Assistantis a vital role in supporting patients throughout their fertility journey. We are seeking compassionate, detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a Medical Assistantyou will assist with procedures, provide education, and support the multidisciplinary team, ensuring every patient receives exceptional care at every step of their path to parenthood.

We are seeking a Medical Assistantto join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility - Virginia and Maryland supporting clinic locations in Arlington, VA, and Bethesda, MD. This is a full-time, day-shift, onsite position. Working hours are based on clinic needs and may vary. The role may also include weekend shifts approximately once every three weeks, with advance notice, as well as holidays as needed.

Position Requirements

• Education & Licensure:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and certification preferred
  • Maintain current BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience & Skills:
  • 1-2 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred
  • Strong phlebotomy skills preferred.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Flexibility:
  • Must be flexible and available to travel to other satellite clinic locations and provide coverage on holidays and weekends as needed.
• Hourly Rate: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour (final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
