Job summary

Pinnacle Fertility in Chicago, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patients through the fertility journey, assisting with care, preparing for procedures, and educating patients. This role is full-time and onsite, with Monday–Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.

You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and the care team, maintain EMR records, and help ensure compassionate, high-quality care at every step of the patient’s path to parenthood.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program strongly preferred.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred; phlebotomy experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in patients, verify medical history, and update their information.
• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Take vital signs, draw blood, and administer injections.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are stocked and ready.
• Maintain accurate EMR records and coordinate patient appointments.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medication protocols, and preventive care measures.
• May assist with in-office procedures and provide support during egg retrievals and other outpatient procedures.
• May prepare, maintain, and assist within the Operating Room (OR) with sterile technique.
