Job summary

Starling Physicians, a physician-led network, seeks a Medical Assistant to support physicians and extend patient care across clinics and virtual platforms. You will help manage patient flow, prepare exam rooms, collect vitals, document in EHR, and coordinate referrals and scheduling.

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program, and 0–1 year of related experience; BLS within 30 days; strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduated from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program.
• BLS certification (or within 30 days of hire) is required.
• English communication skills required, oral and written.
• Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Prepares examination rooms and escorts patients to the room.
• Maintains efficient patient flow and accurate documentation in EHR.
• Schedules appointments and coordinates referrals and tests.
• Documents vital signs, allergies, and meds in EHR with accuracy.
• Assists with medication handling, safety, and waste disposal.
• Provides scribing services and supports care transitions as needed.
