Premier Health Physician Companies seeks a Medical Assistant to support patient care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. The role involves rooming patients, taking vitals, and assisting physicians with procedures under supervision at Studebaker Family Practice.

Responsibilities include administering injections, EKGs, and breathing treatments, performing routine lab tests, and ensuring accurate documentation and HIPAA compliance. Training and CPR certification within 3 months are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from Medical Assistant program and/or CMA certification.
• Experience in ambulatory health care facility preferred.
• Ability to learn center tasks and assist management/physicians.
• Self-motivated to achieve high patient care and customer service standards.
• CPR certification within first 3 months of employment.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR strongly preferred.
• Thorough understanding of HIPAA law.

Responsabilités

• Room patients and collect vitals.
• Perform pulmonary function tests and EKGs.
• Administer injections and breathing treatments.
• Dressing changes and wound care as assigned.
• Conduct lab testing and assist with tests as needed.
• Document thoroughly and maintain accurate records.
• Assist physicians and center staff to ensure smooth operations.
