Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL seeks a Medical Assistant - Family Practice to support a busy Primary Care clinic with 4 providers. You will prepare patients for exams, collect specimens, perform routine tests, and may phlebotomize.

Under physician supervision, you may administer injections and perform clerical duties to keep clinic operations running smoothly. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CMA/RMA/CCMA certification (or ≥1 year of clinical experience if not certified),

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is REQUIRED.
• Current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification required; if not certified, at least 1 year of clinical experience.
• CPR BLS certification required.
• Valid driver's license for off-site duties.
• Flexible to scheduling changes including overtime, evening and Saturday rotation.
• Prior work experience in a Primary Care setting preferred.
• Spanish bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for physical examinations and obtain specimens.
• Conduct routine laboratory tests and record results.
• May perform phlebotomy and administer selected medications/injections under physician supervision.
• Perform clerical duties to support clinic operations.
• Support a very busy Primary Care office with 4 providers and additional clinical staff.
