Job summary

Duly Health and Care is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant/Medical Assistant for Family Practice/Internal Medicine in the West Region across Lisle, Naperville, Woodridge, Plainfield, and Aurora. This full-time role involves assisting physicians during exams and procedures, taking vitals, and handling front-desk tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience required.
• Active medical assistant certification (AMT/NCCT/NHA/ARMA/AAMA) preferred.
• CPR certification or willingness to become certified upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs and collecting health history.
• Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes and other first aid procedures.
• Certified medical assistants may assist with immunizations or injections.
• Assist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting and filing.
• Conduct onsite lab testing to include: EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose and urine pregnancy tests.
• Maintains clean, warm and inviting examination rooms for patient visits.
• Provide excellent customer service exemplifying Duly Health and Care values.
• Some travel to assist other local clinics may be required.
