Valley Health System seeks a Medical Assistant to perform patient intake, blood draws, EKGs, and related tests while documenting in the EMR system. The role supports registration, billing and insurance processes in a busy outpatient setting.

Requires a NJ-certified MA and completion of an MA program, with prior clinic or outpatient experience and strong customer service skills. Day shift with full-time benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an MA program with office management coursework.
• Current CMA/RMA certification recognized by NJ boards.
• Experience in a clinic, physician office or outpatient setting with data entry and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform front desk duties: patient registration, billing, and insurance processing.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in the EMR system per policy.
• Support clinical team with patient intake, blood draw, EKG, and related tests as directed.
