Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform patient intake, blood draws, EKGs and related clinical tasks in a Clifton-based clinic. The role requires a formal MA program completion and state-recognized MA/RMA certification. Excellent customer service and accurate EMR documentation are essential.

You will also support front desk operations including patient registration and insurance processes, contributing to smooth workflow and high-quality patient care within the practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program including coursework in office management/database management.
• Current and valid MA/RMA certification recognized by the state boards (AMT/AAMA/NCCT).

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake, EKG, blood draw and related MA duties.
• Handle front desk functions: patient registration, billing and insurance processing.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation per Valley Health System policies.
