Community Health Center of Danbury is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to provide clinical and technical support in a primary care setting. You will assist providers, prepare patients, document findings, and perform CLIA-waived tests including EKG, hearing, and vision assessments.

The role requires high school diploma, completion of an accredited MA program, and MA certification or registration within 90 days of hire. CPR certification is mandatory and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant course from an accredited school.
• MA board certification (AAMA, NHA, NCCT) or AMT registration within 90 days of hire.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and basic medical testing procedures.

Responsabilités

• Pre-visit preparation for primary care patients using established criteria.
• Assist with e-huddles and care dashboards to support comprehensive visits.
• Document chief complaints and screening results accurately.
• Perform CLIA-waived tests, EKG, hearing and vision tests.
• Maintain infection control standards and CPR certification.
