Banner Health in Casper, Wyoming is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians and nursing staff, delivering compassionate patient care in a fast-paced clinic.

You will room patients, take vital signs, document notes, coordinate referrals and tests, and maintain clean exam rooms. We welcome uncertified MA candidates with at least 1 year experience. Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm. A $2,000 hire-on bonus is available.

Formación

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Completion of an approved medical assistant training program per state regulations.
• Active Medical Assistant certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong computer skills and ability to work with medical software.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patients for exam by taking vital signs and recording measurements.
• Assist providers with exams and minor in-office procedures.
• Coordinate patient care including pre-certifications, referrals, authorizations, prescriptions and scheduling.
• Provide clerical support and accurate documentation for billing and patient records.
• Maintain a clean, functional, and sterilized clinical environment.
• Order supplies and manage medications as directed.
• Develop and maintain effective communication with patients, staff, and external contacts.
