Job summary

Banner Health's Guernsey, WY clinic is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support our growing team and patient care. You will room patients, take vitals, and assist providers throughout the day, with occasional float to Banner Medical Clinic in Wheatland.

This is a full-time role, day shift, Monday through Friday with specific hours. Eligible team members receive a $2,000 sign-on bonus for a 12-month commitment and join a network delivering primary and specialty care across Banner Health.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved medical assistant training program as defined by state regulations.
• Active Medical Assistant Certification is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong computer skills, including EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for exam by taking vital signs and recording chief complaint.
• Assist providers with exams and minor in-office procedures.
• Coordinate patient care including referrals, authorizations, and scheduling.
• Provide clerical support for medical records and billing documents.
• Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms and equipment.
