Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers, assist with exams, and help coordinate patient care, ensuring a positive healthcare experience.

Ideal candidates have MA program/externship or EMT/Paramedic training. Current MA certification or eligibility, CPR, and 0–1 year of clinical experience are preferred to contribute to a patient-centered team focused on excellence in care.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of an MA program or externship/internship, EMT, paramedic, or athletic trainer program.
• Current MA certification or eligibility preferred.
• Valid CPR certification.
• 0–1 year clinical experience; or 2+ years clinical support if MA program not completed.

Aufgaben

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
