Lehigh Valley Hospital, Inc. is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join the LVPG-L Family Med team in Trexlertown, PA. This role involves assisting patients with administrative, clinical, and clerical duties under the direction of a licensed nurse or provider.

The ideal candidate should possess a specialized diploma as a Medical Assistant and have excellent computer skills. Responsibilities include preparing patients for exams, collecting lab specimens, and providing exceptional patient support both in-person and over the phone.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma as a Medical Assistant required.
• Excellent computer skills including EMR, word processing, and Excel.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patient and equipment for exams/procedures.
• Collect and prepare lab specimens accurately.
• Perform clerical duties and provide front office support.
