Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant for the LVPG-L Family Med in Hellertown. The position supports clinical tasks and front-office duties, under supervision of licensed clinicians.

You will collect patient histories, prepare exam rooms, and assist with procedures while maintaining EMR documentation and excellent patient service. Minimum qualifications include a diploma in Medical Assisting and BLS certification, with preferred credentials such as CMA or CCMA.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma as a Medical Assistant.
• Ability to adapt to constant change within a healthcare setting.
• Strong computer skills including EMR, word processing, and Excel.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepares patient and equipment for exams and maintains exam rooms and clinical area.
• Performs medical history collection and medication refill per protocol.
• Collects and prepares lab specimens/lab requisitions and schedules referrals and/or procedures.
• Identifies risks and communicates them to the licensed nurse or provider.
• Adheres to clerical, clinical, and EMR workflows; greets patients and supports front office duties.
