Job summary

• BLS certification within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-visit work and obtain vital signs.
• Assist provider in examinations and procedures.
• Clean and prepare instruments; maintain exam rooms.
• Respond to patient portal messages on the same day.
• Administer vaccines and manage prescriptions per protocol.
• Schedule pre-admission tests and follow-up calls.
• Greet, check-in/out, schedule patients, answer phones, and maintain charts.
• Document encounters as a scribe when needed; order labs/referrals.
