Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to be the first point of contact for patients, handling both administrative and clinical tasks onsite in Decatur, GA. You will perform vital signs, administer vaccines, draw blood, and assist physicians, while maintaining exam rooms and EMR documentation.

The role requires an MA certification, CPR, and a high school diploma. TB screening will be part of the process; phlebotomy experience and knowledge of value-based care CPT/ICD

Qualifications

• Certified/Registered Medical Assistant credential.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Discuss symptoms, obtain vital signs, and administer medications and vaccines.
• Perform phlebotomy, collect specimens, and conduct diagnostic screening tests.
• Sterilize equipment, clean examination rooms, and document information in the EMR.
• Collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.
• Deliver direct patient care within scope of active certification.
• Follow procedures with policy interpretation and prioritization of tasks.
