Northwestern Medicine in Grayslake, IL is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support physicians, nurses and staff at our multi-specialty clinic. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, with emphasis on efficient patient flow and professional patient interactions.

You will perform clinical tasks such as vital signs, rooming patients, assisting with procedures, specimen collection and basic clerical duties, while maintaining safety and confidentiality.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Certification as MA CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA expected within six months.
• American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification is required.
• Zero to two years of relevant experience.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with patient flow: vitals, rooming, and preparing exam rooms.
• Performs venipuncture, immunizations, ECG, and related procedures per protocol.
• Maintains equipment, supplies, and sterilization; supports vaccine inventory.
• Interacts with patients professionally to promote satisfaction and confidentiality.
• Performs delegated duties and supports the care team.
• Completes duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
