Northwestern Medicine's Grayslake Multi-Specialty clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The role supports physicians and nurses, helps manage patient flow, and handles related administrative tasks.

Required: High school diploma or GED, BLS/CPR certification, and MA certification within six months; 0–2 years of experience; strong computer skills. Preferred: completed MA program and EMR experience.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current MA certification options include CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA; certification must be obtained within six months of employment.
• American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong computer skills.

Aufgaben

• Ensure efficient patient flow through the clinic; prepare exam rooms and gather supplies.
• Assist practitioners with ECG, venipuncture, immunizations, specimen collection and CLIA-waived tests.
• Prepare and stock exam rooms, maintain inventory, and ensure clean, safe care areas.
• Interact with patients professionally to promote satisfaction and support the care team.
• Perform delegated procedures per specialty protocols and assist with other duties as assigned.
