St. Charles Health System in Bend, Oregon is seeking a Medical Assistant to support daily patient flow across a multi-specialty clinic. You will welcome patients, triage information, prepare exam rooms, and assist clinicians to deliver timely, compassionate care.

Required: high school diploma or GED and MA certification; preferred: graduate of an accredited MA program. Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding, HIPAA, and basic medical practice management systems.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of ICD-10, CM/CPT/HCPCS coding conventions and procedures.
• Working knowledge of medical practice management information systems.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and meet HIPAA requirements.

Responsabilités

• Escorts patients to exam rooms and prepares for physician assessment.
• Records and maintains patient's medical data in chart.
• Assists physician with phone requests from patients and other medical professionals.
• Performs a variety of physician-requested ancillary procedures.
• Maintains equipment and supply inventory.
• Delivers patient care and customer service with professionalism and confidentiality.
