• General knowledge of medical procedures, views, and equipment
• Basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Competence and validation in basic Medical Assisting skills, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and administering injections
• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule-based data and instructions
• Written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences
• Time management and organizational skills, including prioritization and ability to meet deadlines within standardized procedures
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and electronic health records (EHR)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an interruption-prone environment
