Job summary

Grand-Rapids-Ear,-Nose-and-Throa is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our established practice. You will escort patients, document medical histories, and support the provider with procedures while ensuring accurate charting.

The role requires detail orientation, strong communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. No weekends and a comprehensive benefits package accompany this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in medical field preferred (1 year).
• Medical assistant certification is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to the exam room.
• Provide and coordinate efficient patient care while documenting the patient’s medical history and any other pertinent information related to their visit.
• Ensure all documentation accurately reflects the patient encounter and plan of care.
• Some areas may require injections, PFTs, basic patient education, and triage calls under the provider.
• Sterilize and maintain exam rooms and instruments.
• Assist physician with procedures.
