Job summary

Michigan ENT & Allergy Specialists in Grand Haven, MI is seeking an Allergy Medical Assistant to join our team. You will support patients, escort to exam rooms, document medical history, and help coordinate care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

The role emphasizes accuracy, patient communication, and the ability to multitask. We offer a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, a strong benefits package, and PTO to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Fast-paced environment experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and computer skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Detail oriented and able to multi-task.
• One year medical field experience preferred but not required.
• Medical assistant certification is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to the exam room.
• Coordinate efficient patient care and document medical history.
• Ensure all documentation reflects patient encounter and plan of care.
• Some areas require injections, PFTs, basic patient education, and triage calls under provider.
• Schedule allergy testing/Immunotherapy.
• Perform allergy and penicillin testing, write prescriptions, administer injections.
• Sterilize, maintain and restock exam rooms and instruments.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to the exam room
• Provide and coordinate efficient patient care while documenting the patient’s medical history and any other pertinent information related to their visit.
• Ensure all documentation accurately reflects the patient encounter and plan of care. Attention to detail is a must.
