Job summary

MID-MICHIGAN EAR NOSE & THROAT P C is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our in-person healthcare team. You will support providers during examinations, take vitals, and maintain accurate patient records in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate has prior Medical Assistant experience, familiarity with basic life support, and strong EHR skills to document history and procedures efficiently.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ENT/Allergy/Asthma is beneficial.
• Prior work experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Familiarity with BLS protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Proficiency in EHR systems for patient documentation.
• Understanding of anatomy and physiology to assist in assessments.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Take vital signs and document patient history.
• Administer medications as directed and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate EHR and ICD coding.
• Support scheduling, records, and referrals.
