Job summary

Parallel ENT & Allergy Company is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team in Overland Park, KS. You will escort patients to exam rooms, document medical histories, and coordinate efficient patient care while ensuring accurate records and care plans.

Responsibilities include assisting with injections and PFTs, educating patients, sterilizing rooms, and supporting the provider. A fast-paced environment with strong teamwork and communication is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in medical setting preferred.
• Medical Assistant certification is a plus but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for the visit.
• Document patient history and plan of care with accuracy.
• Assist with injections, PFTs, and patient education as directed.
• Sterilize and maintain exam rooms and instruments.
• Triage patient calls under provider supervision.
• Support physician during procedures as needed.
