Job summary

Premise Health in West Valley City, UT seeks a Part-Time Medical Assistant to care for employees and dependents in a Health Center. Hours are Monday-Friday 1:00pm-5:00pm and one Saturday per month 8:00am-1:00pm, offering a good work-life balance.

You’ll perform vital signs, record-keeping, injections, EKGs, and front desk support, with opportunities for growth and a benefits package including 401(k), paid holidays, wellness programs, and access to virtual care.

Qualifications

• National MA certification or accredited MA program with externship completed.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and record vital signs.

• Administer medications and perform EKGs and labs.
• Support front desk tasks and schedule appointments.

As a Part Time Medical Assistant, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in West Valley City, UT. The scheduled hours are Monday-Friday, 1:00pm-5:00pm and one Saturday per month, 8:00am-1:00pm. Great opportunity for work/life balance!

What You’ll Do

• Interviews patients and measures vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height)
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Prepares treatment rooms, cleans and sterilizes instruments
• Medication administration including injections, performs laboratory tests, operates EKGs and other diagnostic equipment as permitted by state regulations
• Performs administrative tasks, assists at the front desk, schedules appointments, makes follow-up calls, and orders medical supplies
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• National certification in Medical Assisting from a Premise Health approved organization OR Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Medical Assistant program with hands on externship completed and passed- total online courses are not accepted
• Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
