Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full Time Medical Assistant to support client employees and dependents in our Health Center located in Portland, OR. This role focuses on high-quality, personal patient care in a premium corporate setting.

You will spend about 70% of your time in clinical care, including phlebotomy, injections, lab coordination, and assisting multiple providers. The schedule runs Monday 7:00 AM–6:00 PM and Tue–Thu 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, with onsite parking and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• National certification in Medical Assisting or equivalent with hands-on externship.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and measure vital signs.
• Maintain patient health records with up-to-date information.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize equipment.
• Administer medications including injections and perform labs and EKGs.
• Assist front desk, schedule appointments, and manage supplies.

As a Full Time Medical Assistant, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Portland, OR.

The scheduled hours are Monday 7:00a -6:00p; Tuesday through Thursday 7:00a-5:00p.

• Make an impact in a premium corporate health center: Join a close-knit team supporting a primarily corporate patient population, including executives and their families, where you’ll provide a personalized, high-quality “white glove” patient experience.
• Put your clinical skills to work: Spend approximately 70% of your time in clinical care, with a strong focus on phlebotomy, injections, lab coordination, and supporting multiple providers. Epic experience and strong phlebotomy skills are highly valued.
• Enjoy a consistent 4-day schedule: Work Monday 7:00 AM–6:00 PM and Tuesday–Thursday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, with onsite parking and access to the client’s cafeteria at the employee rate, including full meals and free coffee.

What You’ll Do

• Interviews patients and measures vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height)
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Prepares treatment rooms, cleans and sterilizes instruments
• Medication administration including injections, performs laboratory tests, operates EKGs and other diagnostic equipment as permitted by state regulations
• Performs administrative tasks, assists at the front desk, schedules appointments, makes follow-up calls, and orders medical supplies
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• National certification in Medical Assisting from a Premise Health approved organization OR Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Medical Assistant program with hands on externship completed and passed- total online courses are not accepted
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
