Optima Medical in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced, patient-focused team.

You will record vitals, prep exam rooms, assist with procedures, administer injections, and help with scheduling and charting using eClinicalWorks EMR. Experience of at least 1 year is preferred. We offer career growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of clinical work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• High level of professionalism and excellent written/verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Record patient information such as vital signs and weight.
• Clean and prepare exam rooms prior to/following appointments.
• Perform medical procedures such as EKG and basic testing.
• Administer injections and draw blood.
• Assist with patient scheduling, follow up, and provider charting.

Medical Assistant Job Responsibilities:

• Record patient information such as vital signs, weight, and changes in medical history
• Clean and prepare exam rooms prior to/following patient appointments.
• Able to perform various medical procedures such as EKG, PFT, Ear Lavage etc.
• Administer injections and take blood draws.
• Assist with patient scheduling, follow up, and provider charting as needed.

Medical Assistant Job Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of clinical work experience as a Medical Assistant
• At least 1 year of EMR experience; eClinicalWorks preferred.
• High level of professionalism
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
