Job summary

Optima Medical is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Arizona-based practice, serving a broad patient population across 34 locations. The role emphasizes accurate vital signs, room preparation, and coordination of patient care to support providers.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of clinical MA experience and EMR proficiency (eClinicalWorks preferred), along with strong communication and professional standards to ensure high-quality patient interactions.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of clinical work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• At least 1 year of EMR experience; eClinicalWorks preferred.
• High level of professionalism.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Record patient information such as vital signs, weight, and changes in medical history.
• Clean and prepare exam rooms prior to/following patient appointments.
• Able to perform various medical procedures such as EKG, PFT, Ear Lavage etc.
• Administer injections and take blood draws.
• Assist with patient scheduling, follow up, and provider charting as needed.
