Job summary

Optima Medical is an Arizona-based medical group with 34 locations and 150+ providers serving more than 200,000 patients. Our mission is to improve life in Arizona and Nevada through personalized healthcare.

The Medical Assistant will record vital signs, prepare exam rooms, perform procedures such as EKG and PFT, administer injections, draw blood, and help with scheduling and charting in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of clinical work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• At least 1 year of EMR experience; eClinicalWorks preferred.
• High level of professionalism and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Record patient information such as vital signs, weight, and changes in medical history.
• Clean and prepare exam rooms prior to/following patient appointments.
• Able to perform various medical procedures such as EKG, PFT, Ear Lavage etc.
• Administer injections and take blood draws.
• Assist with patient scheduling, follow up, and provider charting as needed.
