Job summary

Albany Family Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their team. Hours are Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm, or 8:30am–5:00pm. This position is eligible for up to a $1,000 recruitment and retention bonus. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $22.00 per hour.

CCP salary ranges include benefits such as healthcare and PTO. Previous medical/clinical experience is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent, Medical Assistant Certification preferred, and familiarity with Allscripts are valued

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous medical/clinical experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion.
• Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records.
• Experience with Allscripts is a plus.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Document verbal conversations and information into the patient records in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
• Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. EKG, PFT, etc.).
• Assist providers with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.

Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

CCP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth. Individual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, such as work experience, qualifications, and skills. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
