Albany Family Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. The role supports clinicians with patient prep, vitals, specimen collection, and administrative tasks in a busy outpatient setting.

Responsibilities include documenting conversations, maintaining patient flow, performing basic clinical procedures, and assisting with exams and diagnostics. Prior MA experience and a certification are preferred; Allscripts experience is a plus.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous medical/clinical experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Previous phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• Ability to establish cooperative relationships with patients and staff.
• Maintain strictest confidentiality and discretion.
• Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records.
• Experience with Allscripts is a plus.

Albany Family Medicine

is looking for a Medical Assistant to join their team! The hours are:

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm, or 8:30am-5:00pm.

This position is eligible for up to a $1,000.00 recruitment and retention bonus!!

Responsibilities:

• Document verbal conversations and information into the patient records in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
• Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. EKG, PFT, etc.).
• Assist providers with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.

Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

CCP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth. Individual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, such as work experience, qualifications, and skills. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
