Job summary

Albany Family Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant to support daily patient care and clinic operations. The role involves documenting patient information, preparing patients for visits, specimen collection, and assisting with examinations and procedures.

Hours are Monday–Friday, with two possible shift times. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $22.00 per hour, with CCP offering a wide total rewards package including health insurances, paid holidays, PTO and retirement plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous medical/clinical experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Ability to establish/maintain cooperative relationships with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

Albany Family Medicine

is looking for a Medical Assistant to join their team! The hours are:

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm, or 8:30am-5:00pm.

This position is eligible for up to a $1,000.00 recruitment and retention bonus!!

Responsibilities:

• Document verbal conversations and information into the patient records in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
• Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. EKG, PFT, etc.).
• Assist providers with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.

Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

CCP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth. Individual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, such as work experience, qualifications, and skills. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
