Job summary

Albany Family Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their team in Albany, NY. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm or 8:30am–5:00pm, with a recruitment/retention bonus up to $1,000.

Responsibilities include charting, patient prep, specimen collection, lab entry, and assisting with exams. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $22.00 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package and potential overtime eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Previous medical/clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain timely patient flow throughout the clinic visit.
• Prepare patients for visits according to office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens as directed by the provider.
• Enter orders into the lab system accurately and promptly.
• Perform clinical office procedures (e.g., EKG, PFT) as directed.
• Assist providers with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.

Albany Family Medicine

is looking for a Medical Assistant to join their team! The hours are:

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm, or 8:30am-5:00pm.

This position is eligible for up to a $1,000.00 recruitment and retention bonus!!

Responsibilities:

• Document verbal conversations and information into the patient records in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
• Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. EKG, PFT, etc.).
• Assist providers with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.

Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
