Albany Family Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their team in New York. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5:00pm.

The role supports patient flow, prepares patients, collects specimens, enters orders, and assists with exams. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $22.00 per hour, with a recruitment/retention bonus up to $1,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Experience in medical/clinical setting preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Aufgaben

This position is eligible for up to a $1,000.00 recruitment and retention bonus!!

Responsibilities:

• Document verbal conversations and information into the patient records in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
• Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. EKG, PFT, etc.).
• Assist providers with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.

Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
