The Medical Assistant will work collaboratively with physicians and/or advanced practice providers in an ambulatory care setting. They will assist in preparing and delivering ambulatory patient care as directed by providers and licensed clinical staff. The Medical Assistant is expected to perform clinical duties consistently and skillfully, following departmental policies and procedures. The care provided is based on the nursing process and supports the medical treatment plan, with a focus on excellent customer relations.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma required.
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or current Medical Assistant certification required.
Current BLS certification required.
National certification preferred.
