Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for Psychiatry Associates of York Hospital. This is a full-time position (40 hours/week), working Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The practice is located in York, Maine.

Responsibilities

1. Capturing patient information and vitals.
2. Rooming patients.
3. Processing prescription refills and prior authorizations.
4. Performing office duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Medical Assisting Degree or Certificate.
• Exceptional customer service and computer skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Medical Assistant National Certification (preferred).
• BLS (CPR Certification).
• Mental health experience (preferred).
