Job Title: Medical Assistant (MA) - CT/MRI Float Technologist Program

Valley Radiology Consultants, serving North San Diego County since 1971, is a leader in diagnostic imaging with outpatient centers in Poway and Escondido. We are committed to high-quality services and are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant (MA) with a valid venipuncture license to join our CT/MRI Float Technologist Program.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Start IV lines for contrast-enhanced CT and MRI exams.
2. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
3. Assist in patient flow to reduce delays and increase throughput.
4. Float between Escondido and Poway facilities based on operational needs.
5. Collaborate with CT and MRI Technologists and front-desk staff.

Qualifications and Licensure Requirements:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
• Valid and current Venipuncture Certification/License.
• BLS Certification.
• Preferred: Minimum of 6 months of experience in an imaging center or outpatient clinic.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Empathy and respect towards patients.
• Team player, able to take direction from Technologists and staff.
• Ability to travel between Escondido and Poway locations as scheduled.
• Spanish language skills preferred.
