Bookmark Medical in Peoria, AZ is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join a provider-centered team that supports patients and care teams. This full-time role offers 30 hours or more per week and opportunities for growth within a mission-driven culture.

You will welcome patients, take vitals, assist during exams, perform point-of-care testing, document in the EHR, and help with scheduling and referrals.

Qualifications

• Accredited MA training or equivalent experience.
• MA certification required or willing to obtain; we will reimburse.
• 1+ year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Responsabilités

• Welcome and room patients with warmth and professionalism.
• Take vitals, update medical histories, and support providers during exams.
• Perform point-of-care testing and administer vaccines under supervision.
• Keep accurate, timely documentation in the EHR.
• Support patient education, follow ups, and clear communication.
• Help manage calls, referrals, prior authorizations, and scheduling.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and follow all safety guidelines.
