Job summary

Bookmark Medical is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team in Northville, MI. This full-time role (30+ hours) supports providers during exams, manages patient flow, and maintains accurate EHR documentation.

You will perform vitals, assist with vaccines, and coordinate referrals while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate has Accredited MA training, MA certification (or willingness to obtain with reimbursement), and at least 1 year of healthcare experience,

Qualifications

• Accredited medical assistant training or equivalent experience.
• MA certification (or willingness to obtain, reimbursement available).
• 1+ year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and room patients with warmth and professionalism.
• Take vitals, update medical histories, and support providers during exams.
• Perform point of care testing and administer vaccines under supervision.
• Keep accurate, timely documentation in the EHR.
• Support patient education, follow ups, and clear communication.
• Help manage calls, referrals, prior authorizations, and scheduling.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and follow all safety guidelines.
