Effective March 1, 2025, and expires April 30, 2025. Applicable only for MA positions in the Centers of Excellence and Maryland Family Care practices, of which this role applies.

The Medical Assistant I demonstrates knowledge of growth and development principles appropriate to the ages of patients served. Assists MD/NP/PA in procedures, operates, maintains, and calibrates equipment.

Requirements

Education and Work Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: Minimum one year experience as a Medical Assistant or EMT-Paramedic

• Certification Requirements: CPR (preferred)
• Age Specific Care for: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
