Job summary

Pinnacle Fertility is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support patients throughout their fertility journey in Los Angeles, CA. This is a full-time, onsite position within a multidisciplinary team, offering education to patients and assistance to providers during procedures and examinations.

You will maintain EMR accuracy, manage scheduling, and uphold infection control standards while delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification from an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred but not required.
• Maintain current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in patients, verify medical history, and update their information.
• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Perform diagnostic tasks such as taking vital signs, prepping surgical trays.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are stocked and ready.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR).
• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, including follow-ups and referrals.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, and preventive care measures.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards to maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Assist with inventory management and clinical supply ordering.
• Respond to patient inquiries and provide outstanding customer service.
• Perform other duties and support special projects as assigned.

As a Medical Assistant you will assist with procedures, provide education, and support the multidisciplinary team, ensuring every patient receives exceptional care at every step of their path to parenthood.

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility - California in Los Angeles, CA. This is a full-time, onsite role, with requiredholidays and weekend rotation.

Position Requirements

• Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification from an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred but not required.
  • Maintain current BLS certification.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Fertility or women's health experience is a plus
• Skills :
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to empathize with patients
• Hourly Rate: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour (final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
