The position also covers administrative tasks such as patient paperwork and phone support, with typical duties including managing 15–20 patients per provider daily using NextGen EHR in a high-volume clinic.

Competenze

• Minimum 2+ years of clinical MA experience in a fast-paced setting.

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant with a strong clinical back-office focus to join their multi-provider practice. This role involves preparing rooms, taking vital signs, recording chief complaints, and assisting providers in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate will also provide administrative support, manage patient paperwork, and handle incoming phone calls as needed.

Responsibilities / Job Duties

• Clinical Back-Office Focus: Prepare rooms, collect vital signs, record chief complaints, and assist providers in a fast-paced environment.
• Administrative Support: Assist with patient paperwork and handle incoming phone calls as needed alongside core clinical duties.
• Patient Volume & Systems: Manage 15–20 patients per provider daily within a multi-provider practice using NextGen EHR.
• High-Volume Environment: Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume clinic setting that requires strong efficiency and adaptability.

Qualifications

• NCMA or CCMA (Preferred)

Experience

• 2+ Years Clinical MA Experience: Proven track record in a fast-paced clinical setting managing patient intake, vitals, and provider support.

Skills

• Strong Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities focused on delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Proficiency with EMR Systems: Direct hands-on experience navigating Electronic Medical Records to manage patient charts, charting, and documentation accurately.

Schedule / Shift

• Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).
