Job description

An established Advanced Primary Care Clinic is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to join their team.

Overview of Responsibilities

• Collaborate 1-1 with providers to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Perform clinical rooming, including taking vitals and patient history.
• Manage phlebotomy duties, lab draws, urine samples, and urine dips.
• Administer vaccines and manage medication refills, including pulling medications and printing labels.
• Perform daily clinic spot checks, including freezer temperature monitoring and testing logs.
• Handle administrative tasks such as referral follow-ups and patient review.
• Manage a patient volume of approximately 20-35 patients daily.

Schedule/Shift

• Clinic hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
• Saturday hours: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
• Flexible 40-hour work week with start times varying between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM.
• Saturdays are rotated (potential for only one Saturday per month).
• Comprehensive 4-week training and onboarding program provided.

Requirements

• Active CMA Certification with the Washington Department of Health (DOH).
• Current BLS Certification.
• 1-2+ years of experience within Primary Care or Internal Medicine.
• Strong phlebotomy skills with experience performing blood draws.
• Recent EMR experience.
• High level of reliability and strong emotional intelligence.

• Experience with Athena EMR.
• Strong focus on customer service and patient outcomes.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-driven environment.
