Premise Health is proud to partner with Kwik Trip and is currently seeking a PRN Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team at our employer health clinic in La Crosse, WI.

Schedule

• Mon 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
• Tue 10:30 am - 4:30 pm
• Wed 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
• Thu 8:30 am - 7:00 pm
• Fri 8:00 am - 7:00 pm

Essential Functions

• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on charts.
• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for examination.
• Clean and sterilize instruments.
• Inventory and order medical supplies.
• Operate electrocardiograph (EKG) and other diagnostic equipment.
• Administer injections, treatments, and perform routine lab tests.
• Schedule appointments and follow-up calls.
• Perform administrative tasks and assist at the front desk.
• Maintain clinic and patient records in the computer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• National certification in Medical Assisting from an approved organization OR completed and passed certification/diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program with hands-on externship. Total online courses are not acceptable.
• CPR (BLS for Healthcare Providers) certification with hands-on skills evaluation. Must meet AHA standards but need not be an AHA certificate. Online courses alone are not accepted.
• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.
