Frontier Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Albany location with anticipated travel to Salem every other Friday and potential work at other MidValley locations. The role supports providers in dermatology procedures, rooms patients, and handles patient education in a fast-paced clinic.

Ideal candidates have an accredited Medical Assisting program or MA certification, a HS diploma, and 1–3 months healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Must have an accredited Medical Assisting program or MA certification/registration.
• HS Diploma or GED with 1–3 months healthcare experience or trade school equivalent.
• Able to work in a fast-paced clinic; duties include rooming patients, assisting in procedures, patient education, and daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and assist providers during dermatology procedures.
• Support clinicians with routine clinic tasks and patient flow.
• Provide patient education and follow-up instructions.
• Handle daily patient tasks and documentation.

Position Details

• Overview: Do you enjoy assisting providers in procedures, learning all about a specific specialty, and getting to do a variety of tasks in a clinic setting? Join our team as a dermatology Medical Assistant!
• Job Title: Medical Assistant
• Location: Albany primary, anticipated travel to Salem every other Friday, but must be willing to travel to all MidValley locations if needed
• Typical Schedule: Off Wednesdays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Qualifications

• Must either be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program, a Certified or Registered MA, or Certified Derm Tech
