Job summary

Frontier Dermatology invites skilled professionals to join our team as a Medical Assistant at our Astoria location, with travel to other Frontier sites as needed.

In this role you will room patients, assist providers in dermatology procedures, educate patients, and support daily clinic tasks in a fast-paced environment, delivering compassionate care across our Oregon and Washington locations. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or MA certification.
• HS Diploma or GED required; 1–3 months healthcare experience.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced clinical environment; strong customer service and organization.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and assist providers in dermatology procedures.
• Provide patient education and handle daily clinic tasks.
• Support clinic operations and maintain patient flow.

Position Details:

• Overview: Do you enjoy assisting providers in procedures, learning all about a specific specialty, and getting to do a variety of tasks in a clinic setting? Join our team as a dermatology Medical Assistant!
• Job Title: Medical Assistant
• Location: Astoria primary location, training weeks required at other Frontier locations (travel reimbursed)
• Typical Schedule: Varied Mondays 8:30am - 5:30pm, Tuesdays - Thursdays, 8:00am - 5:00/5:30pm

Qualifications:

• Must either be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, a Certified or Registered MA, or a Certified Derm Tech
• HS Diploma, GED; and 1-3 months related healthcare experience or trade school equivalent
• Our medical assistants must be comfortable in a fast paced environment; some MA duties include rooming patients, assisting providers in procedures, patient education, and daily patient tasks
